About Scholarship

The UdeM exemption scholarship programme is intended to assist international applicants with their academic endeavours. They may be entitled to a reduction in the tuition fees typically assessed to international students beginning in the fall of 2020. For the winter 2022, summer 2022, fall 2022, and winter 2023 terms, scholarships will still be awarded.

Scholarship Coverage

Selected Candidates will get the following;

  • Level A: $12,465.60 per year (2 sessions, equivalent to 30 credits) or $6,232.80 per session (15 credits) or $415.52 per credit
  • Level B: $5,940.90 per year (2 sessions, equivalent to 30 credits) or $2,970.45 per session (15 credits) or $198.03 per credit
  • Level C: $2,078.10 per year (2 sessions, equivalent to 30 credits) or $1,039.05 per session (15 credits) or $69.27 per credit

Required Criteria

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria;

  1. Must be an international student.
  2. You must hold a study permit , do not permanently reside in Canada , and do not hold Canadian citizenship.
  3. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a program of study throughout their studies at the University of Montreal.
  4. Must have completed high school for a bachelor’s degree program.
  5. Must have a bachelor’s degree in a master’s degree program and a bachelor’s degree, the master’s degree required for a doctoral program.
