This Fully funded Commonwealth Scholarship scheme aims to the students from across the Commonwealth who would not able to afford to study in the UK. By funding postgraduate studies in a range of different study formats, this fully funded Commonwealth Scholarship helps to support future innovators and leaders.
This historic fully funded Commonwealth Scholarship is the UK’s primary scholarship scheme focused on supporting British international development goals. It is designed to attract outstanding talent to UK universities also supporting sustainable development overseas.
Selected Candidates for this fully funded Commonwealth Scholarship will get the following;
To apply for this fully funded Commonwealth Scholarship, you must be a citizen or permanent resident of a Commonwealth country. You will still be eligible if you are a refugee or British protected person.
You also need to have an undergraduate honors degree of at least upper second class (2:1). If you wish to study a PhD, you will need an appropriate master’s degree too.
Finally, you must be unable to afford to study in the UK without the scholarship.
The eligibility criteria for each type of scholarship and fellowship vary. More information is available on the CSC website.

For this fully funded Commonwealth Scholarship applications are now open for the 2023/24 academic year.
The closing date for applications (including all supporting documentation) is 18 October 2022 at 16:00 GMT.
Applications must be made using the
– CSC’s online application system. ( For Master Degree

Candidates must apply to one of the below nominating agencies as well as to the CSC. Nominating agencies will then put forward candidates to the CSC. The CSC does not accept direct applications for these scholarships.
Each nominating agency oversees its own selection process and may have additional eligibility criteria. Students must check with the nominating agency for their specific advice and rules for applying, and their own eligibility criteria. Nominating agencies may set their own closing date for applications.
Candidates must complete an application using the CSC’s online application system, in addition to any other application required to be completed by the nominating agency. The CSC is unable to accept any applications that are not submitted via the online application system.
Agencies will nominate candidates to the CSC by December 2022.
Applicants are advised to complete and submit applications as early as possible as the online application system will be very busy in the days leading up to the application deadline.
